The following blog shows you how to set up the secure store for your Parent Teacher Information System.

The secure store essentially sets up access to the SQL database. We need to assign the Service Account as the users. We set up this Service account on the SQL server. Refer to previous blog. We also need to assign permissions on who can administer the Secure Store.
- Go to sharepoint central admin
- Application Management -> Manage Service Applications -> Secure Store Services ->Click New ->Generate new key if prompted.
NB>>When you set permission and credentials for the Secure Store ensure that you use the domainname\username. I have become unstuck with this problem previously.
